Our colleagues in Sabah have installed solar panels on 3 train car and each is equipped with 30A or 50A DC charger, two 100AH battery and the solar panels on top. It is to generate enough power to take the load of 14 light bulb and 6 ceiling Fan installed long ago on these cars. This is a a steam engine train which tours Kota Kinabalu to Kimanis on North Borneo Train service.
